Karen Ogden, MA, MFT Karen Child Ogden is a busy mother of four and a licensed marriage and family therapist with a private practice in Orange County, California. She is an adjunct instructor at Alliant International University in Irvine, CA. Ogden has a bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Utah, and a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego. She has led therapy and educational groups across the country and is actively involved in educating parents about the effects of technology on children. Ogden is proud to be the co-creator and contributor of The Temptation of a Generation children’s book series, the first series to tackle the difficult topics of pornography, cell phone use and cyber bullying. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Orange County High School for the Arts and has served on the Board of Directors for The Children’s Center in Salt Lake City. She was the Co-Executive Director for LifeSTAR Los Angeles, an addiction treatment program. She is a frequent speaker and contributor to local and national publications, television and radio programs.
