How can our service to the dying be improved?  What pastoral practices are helpful in order to help our loved ones or those to whom we’ve been called to minister pass away in peace?

Sue Bergin, a hospice chaplain and spiritual carer with more than 10 years of experience in Salt Lake City and Utah County joins me to offer helpful suggestions for ministering to the dying.

    Glad to hear this episode.
I’ve been told I always make the most inappropriate comments so this was a must listen for me.

I don’t think I’m as insensitive as I used to be, but it is still helpful to know that one should refrain from trying to fix the situation by one’s choice of words or saying at least… you’re not in a worst situation.

Sometimes I like addressing the elephant in the room… but I don’t know if that is always appreciated.
