When 17-year-old Isabella Parker was a Mia Maid she submitted a profile to Ordain Women because she noticed gender inequality in the church.  She had also  joined her school’s Gay Straight Alliance Club and was very active in social advocacy.  During this time she was called to serve as the Mia Maid Class President.  When her Bishop discovered her social justice activities everything changed for Isabella and her family.

Isabella reflects on the need for a church culture of inclusivity and healthy questioning.
